Students - what are YOU reading?

Just jot a line or two to let others know of a good book they might like to read. And let me know if we should buy it for the RB Library!

I'm reading so many things right now! At this very instant, I've been reading the "Portable MFA", a guide for creative writers who are not or cannot be in an MFA program. I've been using it with my Creative Writers and in my own writing.

For fiction, I'm reading Tami Hoag's "Prior Bad Acts" - just kind of a guilty pleasure book. I like the main characters, Detectives Liska and Kovac.

With Lit Club, we're just getting ready to read "Black Dahlia", a hollywood murder mystery. I haven't gotten my copy quite yet.

I've been really busy lately, with homework, clubs, T.V. Class, and all that other good stuff.. But! I have been trying to get Breaking Dawn finished by Stephanie Meyer.. The latest in the Twilight Series. I haven't gotten very far yet, but, I figured I might as well read it since I've read the other books in the series. :] And, I've also been going back and forth and also reading Marked. It's, yet again, another Vampire Romance fiction. Vampire books have become very popular since the talk of Twilight coming out into the movie theaters.. :\ I sort of find it a dissapointment when people just go to read the book because of the movie, instead of reading the book way before the movie even started becoming advertised.. Oh well. :] I hope the movie isn't too lame like the Harry Potter ones turned out to be.
P.S. I think it's AWESOME you're doing the blog again. Now I can share my two cents with you AND Mrs. Duell. :]
